  • Senior Front-end Developer

    Skills : Core Javascript, VueJS, Vuetify, NodeJS, AWS
  • The CS+ product consists of 3 user interface components written in JavaScript and using open-source libraries including VueJS, Vuetify and the NuxtJS framework. These user interface components are deployed using Node.js. The main components are a payment method selector (aka paywall), a tax adapter, and a merchant-facing administration portal. Qualified candidates should be able to enhance and maintain these components as well as write unit tests to ensure new functionality is well-tested and there are no regressions from release to release.   • Senior Backend Developer

    Skills: Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Junit, Jenkins, AWS Aurora / MySQL
  • The CS+ product consists of 6 backend Java services including the CS+ REST API, the gateway service, the callback proxy service, the notification service, the mail service, and the Smart FX Trading Service. All these backend services are written in Java and utilize the Spring Framework. Qualified candidates should be very experienced with Java (5 years minimum), the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Junit, Jenkins, Hibernate and either MySQL or AWS Aurora.   • Senior QA Engineer

    Skills : testing complex SaaS systems deployed in AWS.
  • The CS+ product consists of 3 user-interface components and 6 backend Java services. These components are all built using Jenkins and deployed into AWS. Each component has its own tests to prevent regressions when checking in bug fixes and new enhancements. In addition, the QA team has a separate automation suite that can be run as needed to ensure the code base is stable before deployments are pushed to production. Qualified candidates should be very experienced with testing complex SaaS systems deployed in AWS. The QA engineer should be concerned with not only ensuring the quality of the functionality but also with the overall performance of the system. We need to maintain very fast response times and scalability even as we add complex new features. Payment systems and/or AWS experience is a plus.   • Senior DevOps Engineer

    Skills : Aurora / MySQL, DockerSwarm, Terraform, Kubernetes.
  • The CS+ product consists of 3 user-interface components and 6 backend Java services. These components are all built using Jenkins and deployed into AWS. The DevOps engineers are responsible for ensuring the health of our development and production systems in AWS. The DevOps engineers will enhance and maintain the monitoring and alerts for our systems to ensure reliable 24/7 operation. Qualified candidates should be very experienced with deploying and monitoring complex SaaS systems deployed in AWS. Candidates should also be experienced with Aurora/MySQL, DockerSwarm, Terraform, Kubernetes or similar technologies for automating cloud deployments.   • Chief Commercial Officer - Pan Africa

    Seeking an experienced payments professional to lead Cross Switch’s
    commercial activities on the African continent (the ‘Region’)
  • Tasks

    ~ Developing and implementing commercial strategies for the Group, including sales and marketing plans and forecasts to shape the commercial path to support growth of the Group across the Region

    ~ Helping the CEO and Regional CEOs identify and consider a combination of partnerships, acquisition targets and organic growth opportunities and assisting the team taking start-up companies/offices through regulation and into operations

    ~ Working with the CEO, Regional CEO and CFO growing and maintaining relationships with investment institutions and strategic investors

    Skills required:

    ~ Developing and implementing commercial strategies for the Group, including sales and marketing plans and forecasts to shape the commercial path to support growth of the Group across the Region

    ~ Experience and positive track record with executing merchant and business partnerships

    ~ Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

  • General Counsel – Pan Africa

    Cross Switch is looking for an experienced candidate to head up Cross Switch’s
    legal and compliance functions on the African continent (the ‘Region’)
  • Tasks

    ~ Assisting the Group’s CEO, other regional CEO’s and senior team members in all aspects of the Group’s strategy and development

    ~ Building out a fully functioning legal and compliance department and corporate secretarial functions in the Region, focusing on consistency of key documents, policies and procedures

    ~ Managing key investments and initiatives, assisting with identifying and executing on targets, managing the due diligence process and structuring local companies, joint ventures and all related corporate arrangements

    Skills required:

    ~ 10+ years legal experience in corporate finance/commercial matters gained in-house and/or a law firm – focus on fintech advantageous

    ~ Superior legal and commercial acumen, hands on experience with managing and executing m&a activity and financing arrangements and regulatory processes

    ~ Strong executive presence with a desire to further both legal and commercials skills and management

  • Chief Financial Officer – Pan Africa

    Cross Switch is looking for an experienced candidate to head up Cross Switch’s
    finance functions on the African continent (the ‘Region’), including accounting,
    financial reporting, tax, financial planning and analysis and treasury
  • Tasks

    ~ Overseeing all finance related activities in the African Region

    ~ Leading the financial planning and analysis function; developing appropriate reporting systems; managing the Group’s budget and forecasting processes with consistent policies across the Region

    ~ Overseeing the financial audit process; presenting it to the Group’s board of directors in a timely manner. Ensuring local entities prepare and report as required

    ~ Participating in the Group’s capital and/or debt raising activities

    Skills required:

    ~ 10+ years financial industry background in domestic and international markets; extensive treasury experience and financial product development experience – fintech/start ups experience desirable

    ~ Strong business acumen, hands on experience with detailed budgeting and resource planning, modelling, and sensitivity analysis

    ~ Adept working in a cross-functional environment

    ~ English and French
